Apple has confirmed that purple haze is considered normal behavior for the iPhone 5’s camera. Millions of users have reported when a bright source of light is in a photo, the light source takes on a purple glow. Some users have suggested that the purple shade is a result of a sapphire cover that is on the iPhone 5’s camera.
The iPhone 5 had the biggest launch in Apple’s history, selling over 5 million units in its first weekend. The issues with the camera is only been one of the problems that has been reported by iPhone 5 users.
