Using your phone as a GPS is super convenient, but if you don’t have a great dock to stick on your windshield, you probably frequently find yourself squinting down at the phone that’s sitting in a cup holder, trying to figure out where you’re supposed to be going.
Hudway is an iOS app (it’s coming to Android in February 2014) that lets you turn your windshield into a HUD for your GPS. To use it, all you have to do is enter in your route, put your phone face up on your dashboard, and go. The HUD will display your speed, a visual representation of the road ahead and the distance you have before your next turn.
The app also has some kind of social sharing feature, because no app or product these days is complete if it doesn’t give you the ability to keep close tabs on all your friends and acquaintances.
You can see a video of it in action above.
